Quzhou Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area

Quzhou Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area is located in Shimen Town, Jiangshan City, Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a World Natural Heritage site, a national scenic area, and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area is situated at the junction of Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi provinces, approximately 25 km from Jiangshan City. Jianglang Mountain is renowned for its unique Danxia landforms, with its main feature being three towering rocks known as "Sanpan Stone," arranged in a "Chuan" shape from north to south, resembling stone pillars. This is a unique macro form in China's Danxia landforms. The relative heights of the three stones are 319m, 271m, and 268m, making them the tallest known peaks in China's Danxia landform scenic areas. Additionally, the area boasts the "narrowest and highest One-Line Sky in the country," measuring 312m high, 298m long, and less than 4m at its widest point. Main Attractions: Sanpan Stone: The iconic landscape of Jianglang Mountain, these three majestic stones are a must-visit for tourists. One-Line Sky: Located between Lingfeng and Yafeng, it is the narrowest and highest "One-Line Sky" in the country, offering visitors a chance to marvel at nature's craftsmanship. Kaiming Zen Temple: Built in the second year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1018), this thousand-year-old temple was named by Zhao Puchu, the president of the National Buddhist Association. Xianju Temple: Situated near the entrance of the scenic area, it is the first attraction visitors encounter, offering a tranquil environment. Xunv Lake: With clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains, it is a great spot for visitors to relax. Opening Hours: Year-round 08:00–17:00. Ticket Prices: Peak season (March 1 to November 30) CNY 90 per person, off-season (December 1 to the end of February) CNY 60 per person. The scenic area shuttle bus fare is CNY 15 per person.
