Biblia Botanical Garden in Jeju

The Biblia Botanical Garden is located in Sangmyeong-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, approximately 40 minutes away from Jeju Airport via the Peace Road. The garden operates from 9 AM to 6 PM every day except Sundays. Admission fees are 8,000 KRW for adults, 7,000 KRW for teenagers, and 6,000 KRW for children. (Seniors aged 65 and above, as well as Jeju residents, can receive a 1,000 KRW discount upon presenting their ID. Admission is free for infants under 36 months.) In front of the parking lot, there is a detailed guide map introducing the flowers and trees mentioned in the Bible. Additionally, plant interpretation guide programs are held daily at 9:30 AM, 11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM. After paying the admission fee and entering the Biblia Botanical Garden, visitors can follow the walking paths to explore gardens filled with various flowers and trees. Besides plants, there are sculptures of biblical figures and animals, as well as stones inscribed with Bible verses scattered throughout the garden. Continuing along the path, visitors will encounter the "Garden of Love," which features the Beatitudes Church with a large cross. Climbing the stairs to the second floor offers a panoramic view of the Biblia Botanical Garden and provides a great photo opportunity with trees and clouds in the background. The Biblia Botanical Garden, themed around the Bible, offers a unique atmosphere as visitors stroll through its gardens. Even as someone without religious beliefs but with an interest in religion, I felt a sense of peace while visiting. It’s a recommended destination for families traveling to Jeju. Walking along the marked paths, visitors can encounter fascinating plants such as gardenias, almond apricot trees, fossil trees, and myrtles. Even for non-religious individuals, this is a must-visit travel spot for those who love flowers and trees.
