Even though I visited during the day on a weekday, Jeju Aewol Cafe Gaho, which was crowded with many customers, had a woody feel and antique sensibility overall. There are wooden tables that can seat 2-4 people along with vintage props, and there is a window seat next to the entrance, so it is a good place to stay while looking at the Jeju green barley field and palm trees. The menus you can order include coffee, latte, iced tea, herbal tea, and the signature menus, Midsummer Latte and Hambak Snow Latte, and you can also order parfait, coffee jelly, toast, etc. For strawberry desserts, there are strawberry parfait and strawberry toast, and it takes about 15 minutes to order toast. Just like the outside, the inside also had a brick space, and natural light came in through the windows here and there, making it a great place to take Instagram-worthy photos while traveling in Jeju Island. Also, although the ocean view is not visible beyond the window, the unique atmosphere of palm trees and green flowers is conveyed, and the overall quiet atmosphere made me think of Jeju Aewol Cafe as a comfortable place to stay. Next to the counter, there were various literary works and poetry bookshelves that you could read while staying in the cafe. It was nice to be able to see a book I had read a long time ago at Cafe Gaho, and old memories came back vividly. The strawberry dessert parfait contained Greek yogurt, strawberries, pistachio cream, cookie cream, Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, granola, waffle cookies, etc., so the price of 12,000 won was worth it at all. It was a dessert that was sweet and had a rich flavor that was enough to eat alone, and it had a generous amount of strawberries at the bottom of the cup, making it a menu that women would really like.
