Upon entering through the seemingly dark entrance, you are greeted by colorful lights that catch your eye. Inside, there are comfortable tables and chairs arranged for a cozy seating experience. During my visit, I tried the London Fog coffee paired with a cinnamon sugar walnut Marlenka cake. The sweet and moist flavors were delightful, making it a must-try for anyone visiting Ara-dong cafes in Jeju. Moment Iluda, a Jeju coffee hotspot, derives its name from 'Moment,' meaning a specific time or instant, and 'Iluda,' meaning to achieve or fulfill. Together, it symbolizes 'a space for achieving dreams.' The cafe operates from 8 AM to 9 PM daily, except Sundays, making it an early morning destination. They offer hand-drip coffee options like Brazil Sul de Minas, Ethiopia Sidama, and Colombia El Diviso. Additionally, you can choose from three types of drinks—Americano, Cafe Latte, Vanilla Bean Latte, and Caramel Macchiato—priced between 4,000 and 5,000 KRW. For dessert lovers, they have Financiers in Plain, Lotus, Choco Walnut, and Caramel Pecan flavors, as well as cookies in Plain, Choco Pecan, and Matcha White varieties. All menu items are available for takeout, making it a great spot for gifting desserts in the Ara-dong area of Jeju. The signature menu item exclusive to Moment Iluda is the London Fog, a coffee made with Earl Grey, vanilla bean syrup, and milk, available in hot or iced versions. I enjoyed the London Fog without stirring, savoring its sweet and aromatic taste. Priced at 5,500 KRW, it’s an affordable treat for those who love sweet coffee. The Marlenka cake, available in walnut or cocoa flavors, is another highlight. I tried the walnut Marlenka cake, made with Czech natural honey and topped with walnuts. Its nutty and sweet flavor, combined with its moist texture, makes it a universally appealing choice. Moment Iluda is a cozy and spacious cafe where you can enjoy a variety of coffee, beverages, and desserts. It’s a recommended spot in Ara-dong, Jeju City, for anyone looking for a relaxing cafe experience.
