Upon my first arrival in Jaipur, I was fortunate enough to dwell in the gem atop the mountain - Alila Fort Bishangarh. Despite being sixty kilometers away from the noisy city center, the reverence for history and the longing for beauty still drew me to embark on this journey. This ancient fortress, perched atop the village of Bishangarh, has a history of over 230 years.
