[Shizuoka Prefecture/Ganjojuin Temple] A temple where you can worship national treasures created by Unkei

Ganjojuin Temple was built in 1189 (Bun'ji 5) by Hojo Tokimasa, the father-in-law of Minamoto no Yoritomo, to pray for his conquest of the Oshu Fujiwara clan. You can also visit (for a fee) and see the wooden statues of "Amitabha Buddha Seated Statue," "Acala and Two Children Standing Statues," and "Bishamonten Standing Statue." It is said to have been created by Unkei at the request of Hojo Tokimasa, and we were able to hear the story of how a nameplate was found inside the statue. The more you look at the statues, the more you sigh, and your soul is cleansed!
