I went to Sanyo-so, which was once the villa of the Mitsubishi Zaibatsu, located in Izu Nagaoka. I was really looking forward to staying at this historic and prestigious inn, where the Emperor and Empress have stayed, but it far exceeded my expectations.... ・A beautiful Japanese garden The magnificent Japanese garden of 3,000 tsubo (10,000 m2) is a truly spectacular sight, where you can feel the changing of the seasons with cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, red pines, autumn leaves, camellias, and more.
