Magnifient views of Istanbul

I was quite curious about the kiz kulesi, everytime I saw it and had been wondering what or why did the ferries made a stop there. Finally during a stay, I decided to find out. You see the kiz kulesi or the maidens tower has so many stories surrounding it. It is known to the the spot where a wooden tower existed hundereds of years ago. And from what i heard from a guide during tour. Legend goes that a certain kind, hundreds of years ago built the tower to protect her daughter from a snakebite. I don't have a clear recollection of the story but you can imagine. So, I took one of those ferries that make a stop at the maidens tower. The entrance fee, ferries and audio guide were included in the ticket. It's a quick ride. Turns out the tower has a cafe and even a restaurant. It's known to be a spot for many men to propose their women. While I don't exactly know why, however this place offers a stunning 360 degree view of Istanbul.
