Of course, they have standard dishes like sashimi and island scallions, which are typical of Ishigaki Island, but they also have many other special dishes that can only be enjoyed here, such as rolled omelet made with Yaeyama soba broth and chawanmushi with Yaeyama soba. The most recommended dish among them is the gurukun onigiri, which uses gurukun, the prefectural fish of Okinawa. At first glance, the crunchy gurukun is topped with lots of sesame seeds and rice seasoned with soy sauce, and it looks like it would have a strong flavor, but that's not the case at all, and it's an onigiri that you can enjoy both the taste and texture.
