#Fukuoka Attractions The former residence of Ito Den'emon was renovated and rebuilt in 1911 when Den'emon was 50 years old and married the poet Yanagihara Hakuren (25 years old at the time) as his second wife. In the vast area of ​​2,300 square meters, there are four mansions with 25 rooms facing the Japanese garden and three warehouses. To this day, the place still retains the glorious appearance it had when Yanagihara Hakuren lived here for ten years. The flush toilet, which is said to be the first in Kyushu to be used in accordance with Byakuren's wish, and the Western-style living room, dining room, and study room in Art Nouveau style are all worth visiting in terms of architecture.
