"Iceland's East Borgarfjord" is a dedicated and long-lasting Icelandic puffin On the third day after arriving in Iceland, we will soon head to the east of Iceland and prepare for a long-distance bus trip, which is about 317 kilometers in total. We first replenished necessary supplies at the Netto supermarket in Egilsstaðir because we planned to stay overnight and prepare dinner. 🚙 It takes about 10 minutes from the hotel to the bird watching area East Borgarfjörður Eystri🚙 ~ 5.8 kilometers After a 4.5-hour drive, we finally arrived at the place to watch Puffin, which is located in the small town of Borgarfjörður Eystri in eastern Iceland. Wow ~ the whole mountain is covered with Puffin! We walked up the stairs to the observation deck. There were Puffins on both sides of the stairs to watch the birds up close. We had to be careful with every step so as not to disturb their lives. Coupled with the golden sun shining over the entire mountain, this moment moved me instantly. Puffin usually live on the water and make a living by fishing. Every summer is their mating season, when they come ashore and look for the same mate.
