First time to watch the sunset

If you’re ever in Zhejiang, don’t miss the chance to visit 南浔古镇 (Nanxun Ancient Town)! I recently took a trip there, and it felt like stepping into a living painting. Nanxun is a beautifully preserved water town with a perfect mix of culture, history, and charm. What made the experience even more unforgettable for me was dressing up in traditional Chinese ancient clothes. I had so much fun taking photos in those outfits—it really brought the town’s atmosphere to life! I also had the lovely chance to meet and chat with some local ladies around 50 years old. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they even shared a bit about their lives in the area. One of the highlights of my visit was learning how to write ancient Chinese characters with brush and ink on rice paper. It was both relaxing and meaningful—a small glimpse into traditional Chinese culture. Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying the local food! From savory snacks to sweet treats, the flavors were rich and authentic. I wrapped up the day watching the sunset over the canals—absolutely magical. Nanxun is less touristy compared to some other ancient towns, which made the whole experience feel more peaceful and genuine.
