From Prehistory to Goya

A journey through the Pyrenees of Spain ~ Huesca (Region) The university, established in the late 19th century, is housed within the old Sertorian University, a Baroque-style civil building. Archaeology and fine arts are the museum's pillars, with collections ranging from prehistoric times to medieval sculptures. It also preserves relics from the ancient Roman cemetery of Coscujuela de Fantova and Iberian artifacts. Additionally, it features canvases from the 15th to the 20th century. Noteworthy are the Gothic paintings and panels, Goya's lithographs from the "Bordeaux Bulls" series, and the complete works of Ramón Acín. The old royal palace building next to the museum is used for temporary exhibitions.
