🍃Border Town, that paradise in Western Hunan, is a place I will always yearn for. Whenever I read Mr. Shen Congwen's "Border Town," I seem to smell the fresh air of Western Hunan, hear the sound of the clear stream, and see Cuicui waiting for her lover at the ferry. 🌸The border town in Mr. Shen Congwen's writing is not just a geographical concept, but also a spiritual sustenance. The mountains, rivers, and people there all reveal a sense of purity and beauty. In this noisy world, the border town is like a pure land that makes people yearn for it. 🌿Today, when I open "Border Town" again, I seem to return to that beautiful small town in Western Hunan. I imagine myself standing at the ferry, watching Cuicui rowing the ferry, gently gliding across the water. The scene is so beautiful that it moves me. 🍂I think everyone has a border town in their heart, a pure and beautiful place. Maybe we can't really reach that physical border town, but we can make the border town in our hearts more beautiful.
