Huai'an | Xiaohu International Hotel

| Xiaohu International Hotel. Passing through Huai'an, I decided to experience this Xiaohu International Hotel that opened just 25 years ago. After checking in, I found that this hotel has excellent design aesthetics and high-quality interior finishes. It might even outrank the Pullman and Haitang Hotel in Huai'an, placing it at the top. 📍The hotel location is quite good, with Xiaohu Park right outside the door and Hexia Ancient Town within walking distance. However, it's difficult to get a taxi, and most dining options are about a kilometer away. Although the hotel is next to Xiaohu Lake, it's limited to only three floors in height, so most rooms don't have any lake view. I stayed in a lake-view room on the 2nd floor, but there wasn't even a "glimpse of lake view" from the window. Later I went to the terrace on the 3rd floor which balanced my expectations - it was about the same. ❤During my stay, I considered upgrading to a suite because I wasn't satisfied with the room view. However, the front desk asked for a much higher price difference than if I had booked directly, and after viewing the suite, I found both the space and view weren't ideal, so I stayed in my original room.
