Majestic Day Out at Frederiksborg Castle

#holidayitinerary Frederiksborg Castle totally blew me away. It looks like something out of a fantasy movie with its towers, moat, and perfect reflection in the lake. Walking up to it felt magical, and the whole place is surrounded by peaceful gardens and water. Inside, the rooms are super detailed and full of history, with fancy paintings, royal portraits, and ornate ceilings that are fun to stare at. There’s even a chapel that’s seriously beautiful. I took my time exploring and still didn’t see everything. The gardens are a must, especially the big fountain and symmetrical layout that’s just begging for photos. It’s a bit outside Copenhagen but totally worth the trip. The town of Hillerød is also really cute if you want to grab a snack after. If you’re into castles or just want a fun mix of nature and history, this one should be high on your list.
