[Denmark] Port town gourmet and fairy tale town ♡ Part 2: Strolling around Copenhagen🇩🇰🚶

#TravelTactics Start your second day in Copenhagen with a visit to Andersen Bakery. 🥐 Speaking of Denmark, it's the birthplace of Danish pastries! The combination of buttery pastry and fruit and nuts is exquisite. ✨ Afterward, walk to Christiania. 🚶♀️ This free city, founded in the 1970s, boasts a unique atmosphere with street art covering the walls. 🎨 While it's tourist-friendly, there are areas where photography is prohibited, so please be mindful of your manners! A must-see while exploring the city is the hot dog stand near Central Station. 🌭 Denmark is said to be the birthplace of hot dogs, and the local style is to top them with plenty of pickles and fried onions. For a coffee break, head to Espresso House. This chain has locations throughout Scandinavia, but its warm wooden interior and spacious space make it perfect for a relaxing break. ☕ Ending our trip with a visit to the Little Mermaid Statue 🧜♀️ Known as a symbol of Andersen's fairy tale and said to be one of the world's three most disappointing landmarks (lol), the real thing is still a must-see for taking commemorative photos. 📸 Denmark is packed with charm, from design and food to history, and the setting of the story. 🇩🇰✨ It was a fitting finale to our Scandinavian tour.
