A walk through Britain’s industrial heritage

A visit to a 19th century mill might not sound like the best idea for a winter’s walk but visiting Bamford Mill and the surrounding area in England’s oldest national park, the Peak District may change your mind. This easy walk takes in not only the beautiful historic building but takes you over stepping stones on the Derwent river with small waterfalls besides you, to open moorland with fantastic views of the surrounding area to a quite spot alongside Bamford reservoir. One of the top walks in the area and far less busy than some of the other sites in the park. #voyagevibes
