Qianyang Ancient City is located in Hongjiang City, Huaihua, Hunan Province. It is one of the well-preserved ancient cities of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China, surrounded by water on three sides, at the confluence of the Yuanjiang and Wushui Rivers. The ancient city has a long history. As early as the early Western Han Dynasty, Tan Cheng County was set up here, renamed Longbiao County in the Tang Dynasty, and Qianyang County in the Song Dynasty. The famous Tang Dynasty poet Wang Changling, who was demoted to Longbiao County at that time, wrote 'Furong Building to Send Xin Jian', leaving the eternal verse 'A piece of ice heart in the jade pot'. Furong Building became famous for this. There is an ancient building called 'Festival Filial Piety Temple' on Beizheng Street, which was built in 1723. It was once a temple for the worship of the virtuous women and filial sons of Qianyang Ancient Town throughout the dynasties. It still preserves a plaque encouraging women. During the Republic of China, it was Dai Li's temporary residence and the Qianyang County 'People's Anti-Japanese Aid Association'. There are many ancient relics on both sides of the street, among which the most famous are the county government, the academy, the Confucian temple, the martial temple ruins, etc., which are listed in an orderly manner. The smooth and washed bluestone slabs on the ancient street tell the story and vicissitudes of a thousand years. Walking slowly, it seems that the sound of horse hooves is echoing under your feet, and the sound of camel bells is echoing in your ears, as if there is the lyricism of the guzheng, the noise of the suona, the confession of the huqin, the anger of the pipa, and the sobbing of the sheng and xiao. The most famous snack spring roll that has been on the central station is sold at the entrance of the ancient city. There are 2 shops, mainly for the neighbors to eat.
