Geological wonder, Ap Chau

Ap Chau is one of the geological hotspots in the Northeast New Territories Sedimentary Rock Park of the Hong Kong Geopark. Ap Chau covers an area of ​​approximately 0.016 square kilometers and is the smallest inhabited island in Hong Kong. Tourists usually visit the nearby Ji'ao, which is a 15-minute boat ride away. Visitors can admire various geological wonders on this tiny island, such as the Hong Kong Red Horn Conglomerate and the sea arch (Duck Neck) formed by wave erosion.
