"High Value-for-Money Amakusa Crab and Botan Shrimp Japanese Buffet"

After waiting for a long time, the Amakusa crab and Botan shrimp buffet is finally here! I booked Den Daikiya early because I had to have a great meal before the trip! Even at 8 PM, the place was still packed. But the seating arrangement was very fast, so be sure to make a reservation! The Tsim Sha Tsui branch has been renovated, making the environment even more comfortable! The self-service area remains as usual, with a variety of drinks, appetizers, snacks, desserts, and hot dishes that are already very satisfying! The only Amakusa crab and Botan shrimp buffet in Hong Kong, of course, the Botan shrimp is the highlight—each one is plump, meaty, and sweet. The fatty pink toro, thick-cut salmon and yellowtail, fresh scallops, and crab legs make it a sashimi feast! You can even pair it with caviar! Other sashimi includes smoked octopus, red fish thin slices, and Thai-style raw shrimp. The toro cod dried hand roll and sea urchin roll are a must-try because they use Japanese sea urchin! We ate two pieces in a row! Cooked dishes include grilled black cod, stir-fried clams with black bean sauce, steamed eel with black bean sauce, and salted egg yolk prawns! Various grilled items like grilled oysters, beef tongue, and chicken cartilage! Highly recommended is the Amakusa crab!! Although not very large, it is very flavorful! Specialty dishes like steamed king crab with chicken oil crab roe and rice noodles, traditional salt-baked crab, Hua Diao wine drunken abalone, fish maw, and shiitake mushroom braised abalone are truly worth it!
