A Cozy Cafe in Causeway Bay｜Feel the Warmth of a "Second Living Room" at Ramie

I originally planned to wander from Causeway Bay to Tai Hang for coffee, but the newly opened Ramie caught my attention and made me stay. The moment I pushed open the door, I was pleasantly surprised: cream-colored walls adorned with fuzzy wall hangings, vintage tiles on the floor, wooden cabinets behind the bar filled with spice jars, and even the checkered cushions on the sofa felt like they were taken straight from a homey living room. It completely breaks away from the cold vibe of chain coffee shops! I ordered an iced Americano and their signature Mochaccino. The iced Americano was unexpectedly smooth, with deep-roasted beans carrying a caramel aftertaste and none of the bitterness from over-extraction. The Mochaccino was a dream for chocolate lovers: rich cocoa perfectly balanced with coffee, topped with frothy milk foam as soft as clouds. Even the last sip had bits of chocolate at the bottom! Most of the customers at nearby tables were ordering hot cocoa, served in enamel mugs piled high with marshmallows—it was visually soothing just to look at. My favorite spot was the velvet sofa by the window, with a handmade woven rug at my feet and a corner floor lamp casting a warm glow. As I flipped through the coffee magazine made by the owner, I suddenly heard the crackling sound of coffee beans roasting from the bar. This casual "having coffee in a friend's living room" vibe is truly rare in Causeway Bay! Remember to bring cash for payment.
