Akoya, a popular izakaya in Causeway Bay

Akoya, a popular izakaya in Causeway Bay, has been bookmarked for a while, and I finally had the chance to try it! This izakaya has many signature dishes, all perfect for photos and delicious 🤤 🍣 Sashimi Platter ($380) A total of 7 types of sashimi, all directly imported from Japan and very fresh! Especially the ark shell, which has a crisp and bouncy texture! 🐟 Grilled Black Cod Saikyo Style ($138) I’ve always loved black cod, and their Saikyo-style grilled cod is quite good, with tender and smooth meat! 🍝 Chicken Broth Carbonara Udon ($98) The restaurant’s signature dish. At first, I was a bit worried it might be too rich, but not at all! The carbonara sauce is creamy, mixed with egg yolk and cheese shreds for extra flavor, and the bacon strips add a salty aroma. The udon is very smooth, chewy, and springy. After finishing, you might even want more, haha 😆 The alcohol prices are also very reasonable!
