The Blue House, located at 72-74A Stone Nullah Lane in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is a four-story tenement building constructed in the 1920s. It is famous for its vibrant blue exterior and forms a colorful architectural cluster with the neighboring Yellow House and Orange House. It is just a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3. This Grade I historic building features Lingnan-style architecture with a rare balcony design. In 2017, it won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation. The Blue House adopts a "preserve both the building and its residents" revitalization model, maintaining the local community's lifestyle. On the ground floor, you'll find the Hong Kong House of Stories, which exhibits old Hong Kong artifacts and offers free admission (open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM). The Blue House is a popular spot for Instagram photos, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival when hand-painted lanterns are hung (illuminated from September 6 to 10).
