Mui Wo Day Tour

The last time I came to Mui Wo was in 2015. This time I will mainly share with you the route and itinerary of a day trip to Mui Wo. First, take a boat from Central Pier 3 to Mei Wo, which takes about 1 hour. Mui Wo itself is not very big, restaurants are concentrated on the left side of the pier, there are McDonald's, convenience stores and Wellcome Parkson. After resupplying, head right from the pier along along the shore you will see Silvermine Bay Sands and the hotel, there are two or three famous restaurant Cafe in the vicinity of the hotel, including Pause Cafe and McDonald's Ice Cream Parlor. After lunch, we set off along Silvermine Bay Cave, passing through many farmland and village houses along the way, and walk for about 30 to 40 minutes to Silvermine Bay Falls, which is a photo spot for the whole trip to Mui Wo. After taking pictures and resting, we walked back out of the pier. You can choose to take the boat back out of Central, while I chose to take the bus out of Tung Chung and walk around the outlet. If you want to stay away from the city but don't want to go to Discovery Bay in Cheung Chau, Mui Wo is definitely a good choice! #localtour #HongKong #offshore #hiking #discharge
