Hexagonal Pillar Geopark Adventure: High Island Reservoir > Po Pin Chau

In a corner of Hong Kong there is the world's second largest natural six-pillar rock formation, which is very spectacular. That day, my friends and I decided to arrange a hiking route and visit the geological park located at the High Island Reservoir. Except for weekends, there is no public transportation from Sai Kung Center to High Island Reservoir, so the best way is to invite more friends to take a taxi 😙💜☀️☀️ First, we arrived at High Island Reservoir, and walked down from the high ground to the reservoir along the road. The rock formations stretched next to us, which was very beautiful. 🥰 ☝🏻☝🏻‼ ️‼ ️If the weather is fine, be sure to bring sunshade, water, and snacks. The entire area is unshaded and there is no water supply. Keep walking down the reservoir to the end of the dam, you will reach the more exciting rock climbing and mountain climbing section, climbing towards Po Bian Chau. This is not recommended for beginners or people who are really afraid of heights, as it can be very dangerous. It’s very steep, so you have to use your hands and feet to climb up.
