Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa I’ve been to Hoi An a few times, but I only recently found out that right on the island of Ky Uc Hoi An, there is a 5-star resort that is quite affordable. It even has an infinity pool with a direct view of the Hoai River, and it’s just a 3-step walk from the resort to the Hoi An Memories Park. This is the Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa, located on Con Hen Island. It’s conveniently close to the old town but also private enough for a peaceful getaway, like a boat drifting gently on the water. It’s called Ky Uc Hoi An (Hoi An Memories), so the resort’s atmosphere really reflects the charm of Hoi An, with rows of yellow houses with mossy tiled roofs, and corners accented by vibrant bougainvillea flowers—so poetic and dreamy. On our trip, we visited during the windy season. It was already April, so the sun was mellow and the wind was cool, perfect for taking a dip in the two super chill pools. Especially the infinity pool with a river view—really one of the best I’ve seen in Hoi An. I’d rate it 9 out of 10. During the day, you can chill and relax until the evening comes for the stunning sunset. The only thing is, you’ll need to walk about 5–7 minutes to the show area. There are both standard rooms and detached villas at the far end of the property, and all rooms have open views of the river. Our room was a Deluxe on the 2nd floor, the most budget-friendly option, yet still quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was generous—I’d rate it 8 to 9 out of 10—with a variety of dishes. There were many types of delicious food, especially the desserts and fresh fruits. Plus, the gym, spa, and kids’ club were all well-equipped, so we were confident our parents and kids would be happy and comfortable. To sum it up, staying at Hoi An Memories Resort is super convenient for visiting the show and buying tickets, and even if you don’t go to the show, it’s still absolutely worth it as a great place for both relaxation and cultural experiences.
