Hokkaido Asahidake Ropeway Sugatami Station

Sugatami Station is the terminus of the Asahidake Ropeway in Daisetsuzan National Park, Hokkaido. From Sanroku Station (1100m above sea level) to Sugatami Station (1600m above sea level), you can enjoy a panoramic view of the magnificent nature. In September, you can see beautiful autumn leaves like the one in the photo. At Sugatami Station, where you arrive, there are toilets and a shop. Toilet paper is also available in the toilets. If you don't have much time, you can get a panoramic view of the mountains and foothills of Mt. Asahi and other mountains from around Sugatami Station if the weather is good.
