|A Buddhist and Taoist holy land. Wudi Mountain Forest Park is a famous mountain in Heyang County and a Buddhist and Taoist holy land. It covers a total area of more than 600 square kilometers, with the highest point at an altitude of 1,548.3 meters. It is also called Liangshan by locals. The mountain is mainly composed of water rocks, with many peaks, stones, trees, grass, and cultural relics. The folk song "Thousand Buddha Cave, Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda, Zhaoying Stele, Sleeping to Watch the Yellow River Wind Grinding, Seventy-two Golden Water Buckets" describes the main attractions on the mountain. Descend from the south side of Shengxiantai and head northeast, stepping on the stone-paved "Shendao", where there is a strange stone, shaped like a giant dragon about to fly, called "Shenlong Tan Hai"; another strange stone, like a crouching frog, gathering strength, waiting for an opportunity to leap, is said to predict cloudy and rainy weather, called "Jinchan Mingyu". Continue along the Shendao to see "Mata Leishi Cliff", where Emperor Wu rode his horse. Behind the mountain is Fangma Valley, where there is a spring, where Emperor Wu released his horse, and also the source of Jinshui.
