A Fun Step Back in Time at Kronborg Castle in

#holidayitinerary Visiting Kronborg Castle felt like stepping straight into a fairy tale. The place is super impressive from the outside, sitting right by the water with these dramatic views across to Sweden. It’s known as Hamlet’s castle, which is pretty cool if you’re into Shakespeare. Inside, the rooms are grand and echo-y, and there’s something fun about imagining what it was like to live there centuries ago. I really liked the old ballroom and the creepy underground casemates where they used to store weapons and hide out during war times. The whole area is really peaceful, and it’s easy to spend a few hours just wandering around the grounds and soaking up the views. If you’re into history or castles in general, Kronborg is a must visit. Plus, the little town of Helsingør nearby is super cute for a post castle stroll.
