The castle where Hamlet is set

This is Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, Denmark. It takes about an hour by train from Copenhagen. If you are also going to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, you can efficiently visit two castles by going from Copenhagen to Hillerød and then to Helsingør. It is said to be the model for Elsinore Castle in Shakespeare's Hamlet, and is a World Heritage Site. It is a castle with a stately appearance, but the interior is simple.
