La Villa Vigía is Hemingway's residence in Havana. It was built in 1887 and has now become a famous museum. Hemingway's immortal masterpiece "The Old Man and the Sea" was written here. The manor has a swimming pool, a sailing boat, a study room with bookcases in each room, and a large garden around it. Hemingway is an American, known as the spiritual monument of the American nation, and the founder of "journalistic" novels. His writing style has always been known as a "tough guy in the literary world." Hemingway loved Cuba and lived there from 1940 to 1961. Many important works were also written here. Hemingway's former residence is located on the outskirts of San Francisco de Paula, about 15 kilometers southeast of Old Havana. The name of the manor is Finca de Vigia (Vigia Manor).
