Let's climb Mount Misen!

Mount Misen, standing at 535 meters above sea level in the center of Miyajima (Itsukushima), is a symbol of the island. It boasts rich nature, historical significance, and breathtaking views. Reikado Hall, home to the "eternal flame" that has burned for over 1,200 years, is a must-see. Near the summit, there is an observation deck offering unobstructed panoramic views. You can also find a teahouse where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. In contrast to the bustling atmosphere of Itsukushima Shrine and the shopping streets at the foot of the mountain, Mount Misen exudes a tranquil and sacred ambiance, making it a perfect place to refresh both body and mind.
