Inside, exhibits of the prison cells, uniforms, and torture devices used by the prisoners provide a vivid glimpse into Vietnam's colonial past and the struggle for independence. Visitors can see the cramped, dark cells and torture chambers, allowing them to understand the suffering of the prisoners.
