Wat Ton Kaew

It is an old temple in Chiang Mai. Currently, it is a temple without monks residing in Nong Kwai Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. It was built to be a resting place for the procession of Phra Borommathat Sri Chom Thong in the tradition of the procession of the Lord Buddha into the city. Wat Ton Kwen has a complete and valuable traditional Lanna art.
