In the morning light, warm yellow lamplight filters through wooden windows of every household, evoking the sound of reading from bygone days. Walking through the village, I carefully admired the carved doors, where reliefs of figures, flowers, and birds quietly spoke of prosperity and elegance. Beneath the old locust tree at the entrance, an elderly man slowly recounted stories of his ancestors, tea smoke curling in the air, the scent of time lingering in the air.
