I can't believe we spent over 3 hours at a service area!

Who would have thought we would spend over 3 hours at a service area? The scenery here is amazing! This is my first time in Shanwei since the new Shenzhen–Shanwei Expressway opened. I was planning to visit Jinding Bay and the city center for some sightseeing and food, but we ended up spending the whole afternoon at the Changsha Bay Service Area! The service area is as big as a shopping mall, and even the KFC is bigger than usual. Eating fried chicken while looking at the sea is so satisfying! The two sides of the service area are connected, so pedestrians can walk between them. The photos taken at the Changsha Fort are amazing, with mountains, the sea, planes, highways, high-speed trains, and fishing boats. It's incredible! As the Lunar New Year approaches, there are many traditional performances at the service area. We stayed until sunset, and only left reluctantly when our phone battery was down to 1%. Since it's oyster season, we had to try some oysters in Chenzhou. We randomly chose Xiaodao Haoqing, which was full at mealtime. Judging by the accents, most of the diners were locals. The restaurant has a Western-style ambiance. Chenzhou oysters are not cheap, but they are thick, fresh, and sweet. Delicious! I'll definitely come back. It's oyster season, so hurry up!
