Best day trip hike from Tokyo, easy and beautiful hike away from the city. Really lovely view of Mount Fuji, taken during Sakura season. Hiking to the 600m summit takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes from the mountain base. If not, cable cars and chair lifts are also available to the top. From Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line to Takao Station to begin the hike! #myhiddengems
