A one-day hiking/Autumn Leaves 🍁 half-day tour of Mount Takao Traveling alone, this time I chose Mount Takao, Tokyo. From Tokyo, about 1 hour or more drive to Takaoyama Station, there are not many opportunities to change trains, very convenient 👍 After arriving at Takaoyama Station, you can choose to take the cable car or hammer up the mountain for only 1,000 yen round trip. Don't want to walk? Definitely not 😑🫤 Both cable car 🚡 and hanging chairs can not go to the top of the mountain, walk to the top of the mountain 🏔️ about 1 hour or so, the difficulty is ordinary; 🥰😅 Riding the chairlift feels fresh, unfortunately there are not many red leaves on both sides, otherwise it must be very beautiful 😍 Then walk up the mountain, on the way there are ancient trees, Takaoyama Temple, red leaves 🍁 must be, great for taking pictures. There are especially many tourists during the autumn leaf season, especially at the top of the mountain, where you can choose to take the cable car down the mountain, which takes about 6 minutes to the station. Mount Takao is divided into several hiking routes, this time I chose the main road and the fourth branch road because you can see the forest suspension bridge, and when you go down the mountain you can see the red leaves and ancient trees along the way, which is considered a new experience in Tokyo tour. There are many authentic snacks along the way to Mount Takao, and there are also restaurants at the top of the mountain, but too many tourists line up, unless you particularly want to take pictures, it is recommended to bring some snacks, otherwise it is quite tiring to walk.
