Rocky Trails at Sokri Mountain National Park

#summervacay Sokri Mountain (aka Songnisan) National Park is such a vibe if you're into scenic hikes, chill forests, and random ancient temples popping up mid-trail. The place is massive, with tons of different paths, so you can totally pick your own adventure, easy stroll or full-day leg burner. Either way, you're surrounded by these tall, dramatic rock cliffs and super peaceful pine trees that smell amazing. The trail leading up to Beopjusa Temple is a must, it’s wide and easy, with little shops and snack stops along the way. The temple itself is legit beautiful, with this giant golden Buddha that kind of takes your breath away. But if you keep hiking past the temple, that’s where the magic kicks in. The higher you go, the better the views get, think layered mountain ranges and deep green valleys. It’s one of those places where the climb is totally worth it, especially when the weather’s good. Bring water, wear good shoes, and maybe treat yourself to ice cream after.
