Rocky Ridges & Peaceful Vibes, Ilwolsan Delivers

#summervacay Took a trip out to Ilwolsan and let me tell you, it’s a total hidden gem straddling Ulsan. The hike starts off mellow, with leafy forest trails that are super relaxing, but once you get higher, the terrain gets rocky and wild in the best way. The ridgeline is absolutely stunning, jagged stone paths, panoramic views, and that cool breeze that makes you feel alive. There’s this perfect mix of adventure and calm. You’ll get a decent leg workout, but it’s never overwhelming. And the summit? Views for days. Mountains roll out in every direction, and if the weather’s clear, it’s straight-up breathtaking. Not a ton of crowds either, which makes it feel kinda personal, like the mountain’s all yours for the day. Great spot if you’re into scenic hikes without the touristy chaos. Just bring water, good shoes, and maybe a sandwich to enjoy up top. Ilwolsan seriously exceeded expectations.
