Third Infiltration Tunnel @ DMZ South Korea

#seoul As part of my DMZ tour, I got to visit The Third Infiltration Tunnel, which was seemingly dug by North Korea in an attempt to invade South Korea. The Tunnel was discovered in 1978, and it is about 1635m in length and 2m wide. The guide reminded tourists with health conditions to sit at the waiting area, as the tunnel climb back up might be quite strenuous due to the steepness of the slope. By visiting this Tunnel, tourists are literally going into the DMZ underground. All belongings had to be kept in lockers before entering the tunnel and no cameras / phones / electronic devices were allowed. My rating of this attraction: 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5!
