A day full of healing in Hwadam Forest, where gorgeous spring flowers are in full bloom

Reservation & Arrival (08:30–09:00) • Advance online reservation is required: During the spring and cherry blossom season, both admission tickets and monorails are reserved in 20-minute increments. We recommend making a reservation right on the ticket opening day (mid-March)!  • Departure: 40 minutes by car from Seoul. Park at Gonjiam Resort and take the lift to the entrance (5 minutes) . ⸻ 🌸 2. Entry & Daffodil Zone Walk (09:00–10:00) • The first thing you see after entering the main gate is the photo zone in front of the Millennium Flower Pine Tree 📸 • Enjoy the view of the yellow daffodils in full bloom in the following Tammaewon & Birch Forest areas. This is the spring photo mecca! Estimated total time is 1–1.5 hours . ⸻ 🚡 3. Take the 1st section of the monorail & enjoy the spring scenery (10:00–10:30) • Take the 1st section of the monorail → Get off at platform 2. Recommended course! You won’t miss the photo spots while running between the cherry blossom tunnel and spring flowers . • You can walk from the platform to the entrance in about 1 hour. ⸻ 🍵 4. Break – Cafe & Snack Time (10:30–11:00) • Coffee and dessert at the cafe/bakery “seed green” or Café & Shop to the right of the ticket booth. • Or have a quick brunch of seafood pancake or kimchi roll noodles at the tavern without a number across from the entrance  . ⸻ 🌿 5. Forest walk along the theme garden (11:00–13:00) • Explore 16 theme gardens including the moss garden, azalea and rhododendron path, pine tree, pine tree, rock garden, and fountain garden • In addition to spring cherry blossoms and daffodils, there are various plant landscapes. • It takes about 2–3 hours to walk the entire course  . ⸻ 🍽 6. Lunch/Snack Time (13:00–13:30) • Recommended to visit the tavern near the entrance or without a number! Menu: Seasonal menus such as Yukjeon Kimchi Roll Noodles, Chadol Yeolmu Bibim Noodles, etc. . • If you want a simple snack, the snacks at the store are enough. ⸻ 🚠 7. Monorail Sections 2-3 or Free Walk (13:30–14:30) • If you don't have much physical strain, enjoy the course that goes down to the rock garden and pine garden on **Section 2 (Platform 1→3)** . • If your body allows, you can **ride the entire 3-section loop (approximately 20 minutes)** and just enjoy the scenery . ⸻ 🎁 8. Stamp Tour & Souvenir (14:30–15:00) • If you participate in the stamp tour with the information pamphlet you received upon entering, you will receive a souvenir!  • Get a stamp at the photo zones and viewpoints you discover on the trail and take a certification shot! ⸻ 📷 9. Finishing walk & preparing to go home (15:00–15:30) • Take a leisurely photo or sit and rest at the pond and rest area near the entrance • 15:30 Take the lift or walk down and go to the parking lot. Before leaving, we also recommend finishing with coffee at a cafe near the resort! ⸻ ✅ Travel tips • Wear sneakers: There are many decks, stairs, and steep paths. () • Reserve the monorail in advance: The cherry blossom section of Section 1 is popular. • No outside food allowed: You must use the cafe and store inside . • If you are not physically fit, we recommend the monorail + forest path walk combination!
