Gwanaksan Mushroom Ridge

Gwanaksan Mushroom Ridge—originally, I intended to hike the Hakbawi Ridge, but I took the wrong path. However, this route turned out to be even more thrilling and fun than Jaunam. It's a continuous rocky ridge, even more enjoyable than the 6 Peaks trail. Please, everyone, give it a try! * Gwanaksan (Gwacheon-Sadang) 📍 From Seoul National University Entrance Station Exit 3 (take bus 5511 or 5513) - Get off at Construction Research Institute (the trailhead is right in front) - Mushroom Rock Ridge - Yeonju Peak (summit 629m) - Descend via Gwacheon Hyanggyo - Gwacheon Station (total hiking distance: 5km) * Total time: 3h 47m (including breaks) Hiking: 1h 50m + Descending: 45m ▪️ At the signpost where the Seoul National University Engineering Building course and Hakbawi Ridge split, enter the Hakbawi direction. ▪️ Refer to the map on the last page for detailed directions. ▪️ Most buses stop at Seoul National University, so no need to wait for less crowded ones. ▪️ About 95% of the trail is rocky. ▪️ Hiking boots and gloves are recommended. ▪️ No flagpole peak. ▪️ The trail intersects with the Hakbawi course midway. ▪️ It's not a famous route, so you likely won't encounter anyone. The path is well-maintained! ▪️ If you see rocks, just climb them—they're all part of the trail.
