Gansu Guazhou Sculpture Corridor: Boundless

#Mainland Travel Sculpture Without Boundaries and Son of the Earth are both works by Dong Shubing from the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts. The sculptures are based on the pavilions and towers in the sutra paintings of the Yulin Grottoes. The overall sculpture is actually more like an auxiliary scaffolding on a construction site, except that the steel pipes are painted white. The sunlight and sand from the Gobi Desert pass through the steel pipes at will. From a distance, it looks like a monolithic architectural sculpture. In fact, people can also walk through the shelves and in the middle of the sculpture. For nature and any life, there are no boundaries here. It can be built in an instant and can be dismantled in a day.
