This is not the famous Ta'er Monastery

This is not the renowned Ta'er Monastery in Qinghai. The guide also mentioned that it has no relation to that temple. This is a ruin, also located within Suoyang City, resembling a mini version of the Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. All areas are basically enclosed by hemp ropes, just like the Suoyang City ruins, and we were repeatedly warned not to step inside the ropes or face a fine of 5000 yuan. Take a quick five-minute tour and then leave!
