Day 1: A Poetic Encounter with Yachts and Harbors In the early morning, we drove to Nansha Yacht Club, an elegant harbor that marked the beginning of our exploration of Lingnan waters. Various yachts were docked at the pier, shimmering with silver light in the morning sun. We boarded a yacht and sailed towards the Pearl River estuary, with a gentle breeze caressing us as we gazed at the Nansha skyline, taking in the breathtaking view where the sea and sky merged into one. At noon, we enjoyed a seafood feast at the yacht club's restaurant, the fresh flavors accompanied by the sound of waves, creating a sense of tranquility and delight. In the afternoon, we strolled along the scenic promenade by the harbor, quietly feeling the whispers of the sea breeze and the serenity of the harbor. Day 2: A Fusion of Wetlands and History The next day, we headed to Nansha Wetland Park, a green oasis known as the 'lungs of the city,' with its rich natural ecology that captivated us. We took a sightseeing boat through the dense mangroves, observing the graceful flight of egrets. Afterwards, we visited Tianhou Temple, an ancient building rich in maritime culture, which deepened our understanding of the Lingnan ancestors' reverence and reliance on the sea. From yachts to wetlands, the two-day journey left us with profound memories of the blend of nature and culture, as if every scene in Nansha was narrating the water legends of Lingnan.
