The peak bloom at South China Agricultural University is expected in a few days.

Visiting the university today, it's clear that the scenery changes daily. This weekend might be the best time to visit, as rain is forecast for the following days, which could affect the flowers. Bougainvillea: The most impressive display is currently by the lake behind the Bamboo Garden Restaurant, where the bougainvillea is blooming brilliantly! Cherry Blossoms: The largest concentration is in front of the College of Animal Science. They were about half in bloom a couple of days ago and should be getting better. There's also a smaller patch in front of the Wetland Park, also about half in bloom, with some blossoms beautifully complementing the Bauhinia blossoms. Bauhinia: Currently about half in bloom, the overall view is still average, as many leaves haven't fallen yet, and there are still many buds at the top of the trees. It feels like it will take a few more days. Hopefully, the leaves will fall, and the rain won't have too much of a negative impact. Otherwise, this year could be another year of spectacular blooming! Pigeon Pea Flowers: I never noticed Pigeon Pea flowers here before. They're on the trellis near the Cherry Blossom Garden by the Wetland Park. This year seems to be a bumper year for them, with a breathtaking, dense bloom. It's the first time I've seen such a profuse and concentrated display of Pigeon Pea flowers. The color is a deep purple, which isn't the most attractive, but the sheer quantity of blossoms is truly spectacular. Yellow Bell Flowers: Scattered throughout the area, with sporadic blooms. Lotus Flowers: The lotus flowers in the Wetland Park are also blooming.
