Langtou Village Chunyangtai | Museum in the Ancient Village

Chunyangtai is an art gallery located at the entrance of Langtou Village, a suburb of Guangzhou. Chunyangtai is the work of the master architect Zhang Yonghe. The artistic atmosphere of the exhibition permeates every corner of Chunyangtai. The permanent exhibition "Yu Dao Da Shi" on the basement floor tells the story of "the life and death of Chinese scholars". Here, you can find the ancestral hall culture of Lingnan and the authentic calligraphy and paintings of ancient people, presenting the life of literati in different times and spaces. Upstairs, there is a library with intersecting staircases and a modern geometric feel. The bright and spacious staircase is a great place to sit and read. You can also find the Wenyuan Pavilion edition of the Siku Quanshu. There is also a late-night reading room, where you can enjoy the high and far-reaching reading atmosphere of the countryside at midnight. Above the library is a lotus pond on the roof. After the exhibition, you can stroll around the ancient village. If you are tired and hungry, there are farm dishes, KFC, and Chayan Yuese.
