The Baode Temple ancient architectural complex amidst the sound of rain

The Baode Temple ancient architectural complex is located in the countryside of Lapu Village in Zengcheng District. Judging by the name, one might assume it is a large-scale structure, but upon closer inspection, it is actually a very small place. The Cang Jusheng Temple has a history of over 700 years, the Jingxing Tower (also known as the Wenbi Tower) has been around for 600 years, and the Baode Temple, which was built by the emperor in the 18th year of Hongwu, has a history of over 400 years. The three buildings are horizontally arranged in a row to form a whole, collectively known as the Baode Temple, which also makes it a rare architectural complex that combines Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. There is a large tree on the left side of the building, which must also be very old, but the heavy rain prevented a closer examination of it, and it was also impossible to take a careful look at the surrounding environment and the interior space of the buildings, which is quite regrettable. This is a niche tourist attraction. It should be very nice to walk around here on a sunny day, with ancient buildings nestled among green trees, crops in the countryside, and the nearby village and old street all worth a visit. The attraction is free and has a parking lot.
